Mission To The World's (MTW's) senior strategy team has approved the start-up of our 501C3 non-profit organization -- The 18.26 Network. We project that this will entail a three-year project. We have been given sufficient funds (for the first year) from MTW to hire an office assistant who will work approximately 32 hours a week. The funds will also cover office set-up and projected legal fees for the non-profit registration.
We will continue to live in Europe where we expect to see a lot of vocational ministry development. Jud will be the Director of The 18.26 Network. An MTW colleague, Carl Chaplin, will be the Co-Director. Debbi Beers, who served some years ago as Jud's administrative assistant will be the Office Manager.
We are in the process of recruiting other traditional missionaries who will work under MTW to promote and facilitate the 18.26 Network both in the US and in different overseas areas. We are also recruiting vocational missionaries who will use their vocations to work in global ministry.
The infographic you see above is from the resource page of the 18.26 Network website. You can download a handout that includes the infographic -- feel free to use it in your local church or local ministry. You can also view the online contact forms that are shown on the handout at the contact page for the 18.26 Network.
If you click on the infographic shown above you will be able to view a PDF file that shows the front and back of the handout. Please take a look at it and let us know what you think at email@example.com. Or fill out the response form at the bottom of the contacts page on the 18.26 Network website.
Pray that many people who would like to use their vocational gifts in global ministry will connect with our network and let us serve them in their strategic deployment overseas.
Jud and Jan Lamos have been in global ministry for over 40 years -- not combined years -- but 40 sequential years together. They have lived in the Middle East, Europe and the Americas and now travel extensively to globalize Mission to the World's vision, values and goals. These blogs add special insight into their lives of service.
